Interesting ACR upgrade list
According to Adobe, anyone with any of THE LAST 3 Versions of Photoshop Elements, i.e. PS Elements 6, 7, or 8 (current) can update ACR to the current v5.6, but, if you own the last version of Photoshop CS (CS3), you CANNOT upgrade ACR higher than v4.6.
Sort of looks like Adobe is sticking it to Photoshop CS users, and not to Photoshop Elements users if they buy a new camera.

SSD and page/scratch files
Interesting question on page and scratch files when changing from mechanical to solid state drives. The first answer says no - no gains unless a different drive is used, will have to watch and see if this is a consensus opinion or not.
